The RT series features traditional SCR driven technology.

The RTS series features IGBT technology.

The RTX series features traditional SCR driven technology that also provides automatic load matching, minimal operator interface as there is no manual tap selector switching, and we eliminated the contactors for better reliability.

Our newest series of power supplies is our RTSX model.  This power supply is IGBT driven, with the additional benefits of our RTS model.

• Conservative power device rating for maximum reliability.
• Internal pressure switches on all oil filled water cooled capacitors.
• Conservative thermal design for cool device operation at maximum water temperatures.
• Low water pressure and high water temperature faults.
• Conservative conductor sizing for cool operation in high ambient temperatures.
• Large efficient DC choke to minimize line disturbances and limit fault current.
• Water cooled snubber components to minimize internal temperature rise.

Our RTS units feature:

• Magnetically isolated output.
• Unity inverter output power factor for maximum load matching and power transfer.
• Fiber optically fired IGBT’s for maximum noise immunity.
• IGBT over current sensors with high speed fault circuits.
• Oversized and laminated output buss bar minimizes power loss and reduces magnetic coupling.
